We will first cover the latest HCI research papers and topics, then go through a complete HCI research project cycle: from finding a research topic, surveying related work, exploring the design space of possible solutions, prototyping, conducting user studies, and writing a short paper. Past class projects have been published at top HCI conferences, such as ACM CHI, UIST, SIGGRAPH, and MobileHCI, and have received Best Paper awards.
