本課程為較深入的研究討論型課程，修課同學會以小組為單位進行深入主題的探討與分析 (例如：Faithfulness、Retrieval-Augmented Generation、LLM Evaluation等)，每周會有預期的作業進度 (包含相關論文查找、跑實驗、分析討論與論文撰寫)，期末時每一組預計會完成一篇深入主題 survey paper。 This course is an in-depth research and discussion-based course, where students in groups will conduct detailed explorations and analyses on specific topics (e.g. Faithfulness, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, LLM Evaluation, etc.). Each week, there will be expected progress in the assignments, including searching for relevant papers, conducting experiments, analyzing discussions, and writing papers. By the end of the semester, each group is expected to complete a detailed survey paper on their chosen topic.

本課程期望學生在修完課後，對於一主題從過去的歷史到現今的發展有較完整的深入了解，並可以透過此深入分析協助學生更容易找到重要的研究方向。 This course aims for students to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of a chosen topic, from its historical background to its current developments, after completing the course. This in-depth analysis will help students identify important research directions.
