本課程以英語授課。

French 3 is a general French course, covering all language skills for level B1. The course will be organized around various themes, reflecting France and other French-speaking societies as well as daily to professional topics. It will cover both oral and writing to equal level in production and comprehension. It is advised for students who feel uneasy with their oral mastery should apply to "Dialogues with the Francophones". This course qualifies for French 4 upon completion, as well as other level 4 French courses.

This course is aimed at acquiring different skills: ● Pragmatic skills: understanding daily and professional situations, both orally and written up to B1 level. ● Linguistic skills: acquiring grammatical, lexical, discursive and phonetic tools used in intermediate daily and professional interactions. ● Sociocultural: developing knowledge of France and other French-speaking societies, as well as debating them in regard to Taiwanese and other societies. ● DELF B1: This course provides good training for DELF B1 for students who would be interested in obtaining the diploma.

It is mandatory to have previously completed French 2, or to be able to attest of an acquired A2 level.

It is mandatory to acquire the following textbook at the beginning of the semester : - Compagnon B1 (NT 200, acquired from the teacher - reserve one during the first few weeks of class)
