本課程為組織理論與管理在健康政策及健康產業的理論與實務之入門課程，主題內容涵蓋組織理論以及常見的各種層面的管理程序相關的重要內容，共包含演講與個案討論兩部分。 This is an introduction course to organizational theory and management in health policy and health industry. Both theory and application in major topics of management process and organizational theories will be covered. It is designed by lecture and case discussion for each topic.

本課程的目標包括： 1. 能敘述健康照護組織與管理之重要概念與理論； 2.能應用上述的主要理論與原則到健康服務組織，例如組織設計、領導、決策、人力資源、變革管理，以及策略管理、品質管理、資訊管理、績效管理等，使健康照護組織有效運作。 The objectives of this course are: (1) able to Describe the key concepts and theories of health care organizations and management; (2) to apply those key theories and principles regarding the organizational design, leadership, human resource management, change management, strategic management, quality management, information management, performance management, and so on, required for an effective operation on contemporary health services organizations.

1. 學生應準時到課，作為期末評分之加分依據 2. 課後作業：年真老師、青青老師的上課週次各有2次的個人作業（共4次）。國彪老師、睿詒老師、守夏院長如有要求課後作業，亦併入課堂參與計分。 3. 全班依照MS與MPH學生的背景共分為6組：(1) 課堂案例討論以小組為單位進行，課後繳交「個人」書面作業；(2) 以小組為單位進行期中、期末報告，除口頭報告外，於期末繳交書面報告。 4. 期中、期末報告以個案討論方式進行，由老師提供，進行個案分析與討論，各組呈現口頭報告與書面結果。
