  • Course Description
    This course aims to primarily assist international freshmen to learn about the study and living at colleges in Taiwan. A few local students are also welcome to join this course and mingle with their foreign colleagues. The course will cover several sections, including: (1) NTU and the learning resources, (2) Taiwan and the education systems, (3) living in Taiwan, and (4) study abroad programs at NTU. Each section consists of several specific topics to enrich the contents.
  • Course Objective
    ?Assist the students in learning and living at colleges in Taiwan; ?Guide the students to use all available learning and living resources for their college lives; ?Inspire students to acquire critical thinking and communication skills and explore themselves through hands-on experiences, discussing, debating and brainstorming; ?Bring international and local students together.
  • Course Requirement
    The students are required to actively participate all of the activities and home-work assignments. The students are encouraged to contact the instructors before and after the class for proper assistance.

    1. NTU has not set an upper limit on the percentage of A+ grades.
