Enrolled0/34Other Depts0/0Remaining0Registered0- Course DescriptionThis course will explore the various physiological systems of insects one by one, including: the endocrine system, integumentary system, behavioral system, metabolic system, circulatory system, excretory system, respiratory system, muscular system, nervous system, and communication system. Each student is required to read the designated chapters before class to participate in the discussion.
- Course Objective1. Possess basic knowledge of issues related to insect physiology. 2. Develop an interest in research areas related to insect physiology. 3. Build critical thinking skills regarding questions related to insect physiology.
- Course Requirement1. Students must prepare by reading the assigned chapters before class. 2. In-class impromptu presentations and discussions on the assigned chapters. 3. Missing more than three classes will result in a failing grade for the semester. 4. In addition to mid-term and final exams, there will be unannounced quizzes.

Grades for weeks 7 to 15 are determined by peer-evaluated group presentations.
10% Written report
Grades determined by the evaluation of each group's written report as well as the grades from regular exams.
