In between, emphasis is placed on stage presence, presentation, active listening, identification of main messages, note-taking skills, and so on. Students will hone these skills through class practice/discussions, and are expected to expand vocabulary, improve register and engage in self-motivated practice sessions outside the class.
- Course ObjectiveBy the end of this semester, students should be able to provide consecutive interpretation on general topics for at least 10 minutes, with adequate Presentation (delivery/language) and Content (meaning/coherence).
