  • Course Description
[Classes will be held at 學新館 R523, please come to the first class to enroll] This is a project-oriented class to conduct Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research on trending and novel research topics. We will first cover the latest HCI research papers and topics, then go through a complete HCI research project cycle: from finding a research topic, surveying related work, exploring the design space of possible solutions, prototyping, conducting user studies, and writing a short paper. Past class projects have been published at top HCI conferences, such as ACM CHI, UIST, SIGGRAPH, and MobileHCI, and have received Best Paper awards. See [[ https://mikechen.com ]] for enrollment and additional info.
