It comprises the introduction of various disciplines and techniques for the spatial data collection and reviews of basic analysis methods for the spatial data and information. This course will inspire the students understand the current development and various applications of surveying and geomatics, and will give them the basic concepts for the future studies of advanced techniques of geomatics..
- Course ObjectiveThe objectives of this course includes: 1) to introduce the basic surveying techniques and spatial data analysis methods; 2) to describe the current development of surveying and geospatial technologies; 3) to illustrate various applications of surveying and geomatics. This course will bring up student in the basic concepts and theories of surveying and geomatics and give them to understand the various developments of surveying and geospatial technologies. This course also hopes to excite students interest for the future researches for the surveying and geomatics.
