  • Course Description
    科學的進展導致社會的改變，從而推進了人類的文明，而引領科學進展的大科學家，在個性和生活態度上有何共通特質？面對困難和處理問題的心態和方式為何？本課程將以近代的物理和天文領域具有影響力的科學家及發明家為例，藉著他（她）們的生平故事，觀察其發想創新的方式，瞭解科學研究的本質和科學發展的過程。
  • Course Objective
    1.藉由師生互動，培養學生正確的學習態度與學習「學習」的方法，並引導學生適應大學生活。 2.培養學生獨立思考的能力，激發其主動探索的精神。 3.培養學生蒐集和分析資料的能力。 4.培養學生編纂報告、表達自我，和提出批判的能力。
  • Course Requirement
    每週以一至三位科學家或發明家的成長過程和科學貢獻為主軸，修課同學需蒐集並閱讀相關資料，在課堂上由教師引言，同學們參與討論、達成總結，同時並由修課同學記錄整理，累積成為學期報告，以及自己未來的生活參考。
