  • Course Objective
Engage Students Immediately with 3D Material: A top-down, programming-oriented approach allows for coverage of engaging 3D material early in the course so students immediately begin to create their own graphics. Introduce Computer Graphics Programming with WebGL and JavaScript: WebGL is not only fully shader-based; each application must provide at least a vertex shader and a fragment shader–but also a version that works within the latest web browsers. Create games by example: to modify an existing program in Unity3D, and then create an interesting game/animation of your own.
  • Course Requirement
Homework: 1/3 Mid-term exam: 1/3 Term project: (1/3) a team with one to three students. Oral presentation of term project (3 to 5 minutes): a competition graded by all students, with top 1/5 selected as the extra points teams.

  • Grading
    1. NTU has not set an upper limit on the percentage of A+ grades.
    2. NTU uses a letter grade system for assessment. The grade percentage ranges and the single-subject grade conversion table in the NATIONAL TAIWAN UNIVERSITY Regulations Governing Academic Grading are for reference only. Instructors may adjust the percentage ranges according to the grade definitions. For more information, see the Assessment for Learning Section
