  • Course Description
    This course is aimed at international freshmen, guiding them to integrate into the local university life, find the direction of life, and make lifelong friends. Accompanied by the teachers, and then learn to accompany each other. The course is conducted in English. The purpose is to help freshmen know and blend into local university life.
  • Course Objective
    (1) Help freshmen adapt to the learning style and life style of the university (2) Cultivate students' abilities of self-learning, communication, independent thinking and critical reflection (3) Guide students to explore themselves and think about the future direction of life
  • Course Requirement
    Attendance (Fail if AWOL > 2 times) Assignment (Fail if missing > 2 times) Presentation (individual & group presentation) *A student who requests leave should apply in myNTU student leave system (https://my.ntu.edu.tw/). The application for leave is completed only after the approval of the course coordinator, as well as the submission of assignment or comments (at least 1,000 words) about the topic on the day of leave. Failure to complete the leave procedures is regarded as absence without leave (AWOL).
